MUSEO DE INSTRUMENTOS

Hello!  I would like to show the wonderful exhibition that students in third and fourth grade have made in music class .We have reused some objects from home to create our own musical instruments. They have been great! These students are true artists.

¡Hola! Me gustaría enseñaros la maravillosa exposición que los estudiantes de tercer y cuarto curso han hecho en clase de música. Hemos reutilizado algunos objetos de casa para crear nuestros propios instrumentos musicales. ¡Han quedado genial! Estos estudiantes son verdaderos artistas.

MUSICAL DISNEY

Hello! We are approaching the end of the course, so we are preparing some dances for the celebration of 17th June. The theme is disney musicals.

For the 1st level of primary education we will perform a song from the film " The little mermaid".

For the 2nd level of primary education we will perform a song from the film "The lion king"

Para el segundo curso de primaria nosotros interpretaremos una canción de la película: El rey león.

DANZAS DEL MUNDO

Hello everybody! Students of 6th level are preparing coreographies of typical dances around the world:

¡Hola a todos! Los alumnos de sexto curso están preparando coreografías de danzas del mundo. Entre ellas destacamos las siguientes:

Flamenco (from Andalucía). It is a musical style and dance from Andalucia, Extremadura and Murcia. It has lots of tradition and rules. It was originated in XVIII century.

Latin dance, like salsa, regueton, bachata, zumba, tango... (from South America). I refers to types of ballroom dance and folk, social dance originated in Latin America.

Banghra (from India). It was originated in the region of Punjab. It started as a popular celebration simbolizing gratitude. The movements are strong and smooth.

Gumboot (from Africa). Gumboot dancing was conceived by black miners in South  África as an alternative to drumming- which authorities restricted. 

Instrumentos del mundo

Hello everyone! Here you have some examples of the class work that students made last tremester.
In 4th level the pupils investigated about different instruments around the world and created a file for each one.

¡Hola a todos! Aquí os dejo algunas muestras de los trabajos que han realizado los alumnos en el pasado trimestre.
En cuarto curso los alumnos investigaron sobre diferentes intrumentos del mundo y crearon una ficha informativa de cada uno.

In 5th level pupils investigated about famous composers in the classicism period. Then, they organised the information in three parts: live, features and musical style and famous musical pieces.

En el quinto curso, los alumnos investigaronsobre compositores famosos en el período del clasicismo. Después, organizaron la información en tres partes: vida, características y estilo musical y obras más importantes.

And finally, pupils of 6th level investigated about the evolution of music through the different periods of the history.

Finalmente, los alumnos de sexto curso investigaron sobre la evolución de la música a través de los distintos periodos de la historia.

We have to congratulate all of them because they did a great job! Many of the class works are exposed in the music classroom. Thanks to everybody!

LA PRIMAVERA DE VIVALDI

¡Hola chic@s! Esta última semana nos hemos dedicado a celebrar la primavera teniendo como referencia la archiconocida obra del maestro Vivaldi. Hemos realizado un musicograma representando cada parte de la obra con una imagen relacionada con los sonidos y además hemos aprendido esta canción:

"La primavera llegó, el invierno ya se marchó
y las flores muy bellas son.
Los pájaros van cantando, las nubes se van marchando
¡Qué llueva! Es la primavera. "

Hello children! Last week we have dedicated to celebrate the spring with reference the swilling musical of the composer Vivaldi. We have made a musicograma representing each part of the musical piece with an image related with the sounds and in addition we have learnt this song.
