Hello everybody! Students from 3th and 4th level of primary are learning about different instruments from around the world! Here you have a very interesting video to watch! :)

¡Hola a todos! Los alumnos de 3º y 4º de primaria están aprendiendo sobre diferentes instrumentos de todo el mundo. Aquí os dejo un vídeo vídeo muy interesante. Un saludo :)

MUSIC AND CULTURES AROUND THE WORLD

Hello everybody! Students from 5th and 6th level of primary are working on the investigation of different musical cultures from one any continent ( Afrique, America, Asia, Europe and Oceania). In this working method we will follow these phases:

1) First of all we create 5 groups of people and they will have assigned a continent  and then, every component has to choose a country of that continent.
2) Individual investigation: searching and collection the information at home. What information?
Music ald culture of that country, traditional dances and instruments, famous composers, singers or artists...
3) The members of the group will contribute their inputs about the music of the country that they have chosen and they will put them in common with the rest.
4) Creation of a summary tab of each continent following a help guide.
5) Preparation in class and work team.
6) Presentation in class in front of classmates.
7) Exhibition on the walls of the music classroom.

¡Hola a todos! Los alumnos de quinto y sexto curso están realizando un trabajo de investigación sobre la cultura musical de los distintos continentes (África, América, Asia, Europa y Oceanía).
Éste método de trabajo seguirá estas fases:

1) Primero, formaremos cinco grupos y a cada uno le será asignado un continente y después, cada componente elegirá un país de dicho continente para trabajar sobre él.
2) Investigación individual: búsqueda y recolecta de información en casa.
¿Qué información vamos a traer? música y cultura del país, bailes e instrumentos tradicionales y cantantes, compositores o artistas famosos autóctonos.
3) Puesta en común: Los miembros del grupo aportarán sus contribuciones sobre la música del país que han elegido y luego unirán y seleccionarán la información con el resto de sus compañeros.
4) Creación de una ficha resumen de cada continente siguiendo un modelo como guía.
5) Preparación en clase y trabajo en equipo.
6) Presentación en clase delante de sus compañeros.
7) Exposición de los trabajos en el aula de música.

Canciones día de la Paz

¡Feliz año nuevo a todos! Comenzamos el año preparando las actuaciones para el día de la Paz.
Los estudiantes de 5º y 6º curso están ensayando la canción "Imagine", cantando a diferentes voces y con el acompañamiento del piano.
El resto de niños/as del cole van a bailar y a cantar la canción "Paz, paz, paz".

Happy New Year everybody! Let´s start the year preparing the performances for the Peace Day. Students from 5th and 6th level are rehearsing the song "Imagine", singing with different voices with the piano accompaniment.
All enfant and primary students are going to dance and sing the song "Paz, paz, paz".

Hello everyone! Now, in 1st and 2nd level we are learning about the different sounds (short, long, quiet, loud...) and distinguishing daily sounds. Here you have some of the videos and songs that help us to work on it and a few activities that the children have done in music class.
